¿what version of windows are you using to connect to these shares?

I once had a weird problem with samba on a centos server and windows 7, but my problem was with a printer.

I had to update my version to last samba version and the problem was gone.

Regards

We had this problem with Windows 7 and samba3x on CentOS. Could not copy anything larger the 4Gb to samba shares from Windows 7 while Windows XP worked fine. Disabling 445 port (addition of 'smb port = 139' line to smb.conf) seemed to fix the issue.
