New distro, same swap?

Hi

I am considering repartitoning my HD to add a new distro. What I was wondering however, is whether I need to configure a new swap partition for it? My inclination is that I can just use the same one...but I'm not sure?

Cheers, L

Tks for lightening response!

Presumably, I can use the same boot partition too if I use grub?
