need help urgently!!! display not coming and error mesage coming when user is logging

hi all,

after installing RedHat9.0 on my pc (i810/1GHz) I am facing
a problem relating to display. My display is not starting is not coming and the log file of X in .var/log is saying that two modules
bitmap and pcidata failed to load. Now how I will load these two modules and how I will come to kno which rpms are required to be loaded for loading these two modules.

In onther PC (same configuration) I have created an user account
and after loging in with that username it is giving an error mesage that it failed to open /home/username/.gconfd file or NFS is stalled. what should I do to solve this problem.

plz help me .

thanks in advance
