My Documents and ~/ sharing a partition

Can anyone tell me how I can have the Windows "My Documents" folder, and my Linux home directory (/home/sakura/) share a partition? I can set it up do that the My Documents folder is contained in d:\ (/dev/hda6). But I'm having problems seting up the linux side of the situation. Would this be possable:

Type at the shell prompt:

$ su
# chown sakura /dev/hda6
# chown sakura /home/sakura
# exit
$ chmod 700 /dev/hda6
$ chmod 700 /home/sakura

Insert into /etc/fstab:

/dev/hda6 /home/sakura vfat owner,defaults 0 0

I'd try it out, but I don't want to screw anything up. Any advice would help greatly.

# chown sakura /dev/hda6 < this wont work. u dont chown partitions.
# chown sakura /home/sakura < ok
$ chmod 700 /dev/hda6 < no. see 1
$ chmod 700 /home/sakura < ok
/dev/hda6 /home/sakura vfat owner,defaults 0 0 < dont know if "owner" is supported, or if it should be "user" to let it be usermounted, but I think it read "rw,auto" since its a homedir.

anyway, its possible I think, but it wont do no good, since vfat cant have filenames like linux does, for instance resourcefiles tend to be named .wgetrc, .lynxrc, .tkdevrc, or have case sensitivity vfat doesnt comprehend. also the permissionsscheme wont work like linux has it.
all in all Id say just make ure home on linux and automount the partition "My Documents" is on and have a symlink in ure homedir.
