Moved file partitions, File system check failed on Fedora, Windows will not boot

Ok, hello, new hear, figured this would go in newbie questions, that way I'm not blasted with too much jargon I don't understand.

So, here's my problem so far, my partitioning layout was as follows
Vista Recovery
Windows 7
GRUB
Extended
-->Fedora 12 (ext4)

so, I shrunk my recovery in Windows 7 successfully, and booted into my Fedora 12 live cd to run Gparted, and move the partitions so that the free space could go towards fedora, I did such, and then I couldn't expand the partition to my dismay. Next, I woke up this morning, tried to boot to fedora to run SSH, grub loaded, but when I tried to boot fedora, I got the "File system check failed" error, and when I tried 7, it just went to a blank screen with a single "_" in the top left-hand corner

Has anyone experienced this before? Please help, it will be appreciated, and sorry for probably doing something so stupid to screw it up >.<

So grub is booting, right?
Are you using grub or grub2?
If this is grub, please post the output of fdisk -l and the content of /boot/grub/menu.lst
You can do that from the fedora live cd.

Sorry, I'm not at that computer right now, I just wanted some info to see if this ever happened to anyone before. (I believe what you're going to ask is what the bootloader is set to boot, but it was not altered at all, so I don't know why that would matter)

Ok, just got on, trying to mount GRUB gives me an error "unable to mount grub (label of partition) error mounting: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda3, missing codepage or helper program, or other error in some cases useful info is found in syslog -try dmesg | tail or so

used "dmesg" got "EXT4-fs (sda3): bad geometry: block count 204800 exceeds size of device (200812 blocks)
" any way to fix this, I rly f'd up this time >.<

ironically I can still mount the other ones, which would mean they'res nothing wrong with them...?

Would it seem liklely to guess that I should try to reinstall GRUB? and change it to ext3 (I have no idea why it is ext4)

I believe it would be difficult to give you any accurate advice without the output of fdisk -l command and menu.lst. Also, you were pretty vague about which partitions you moved and where the free space was.

Cancel all that - didn't read the earlier posts fully.
How did you move the partitions - gparted only?.

OK, so you are trying to bood from /dev/sda3.
Is that the partition you resized? Did you resize the fs too? Or just the partition?
