vncserver startup script?
I am trying to start vncserver by adding this line "vncserver :69 -geometry 1024x768" to the rc.local file. It starts VNC but not in the color depth like a full x session. This command starts a full X session once I log in as root..via SSH or locally.
I guess my question is how do I start vncserver so I get the full X session without having to login as root and running the command manually every time I reboot.
How do I modify the vncserver command to start as root?
#!/bin/sh
#
# This script will be executed *after* all the other init scripts.
# You can put your own initialization stuff in here if you don'e
# want to do the full Sys V style init stuff.
touch /var/lock/subsys/local
mount /dev/sda1 /media/vfr1
vncserver :69 -geometry 1024x768
Thanks!
