i had a problem with redhat 9. iam unable to find how to change the monitor frequency . at 60 Hz my monitor is flickering . i want to change it to 70 hz. how to do that? plz help me.
Look into your monitor's manual first. In the tech data you should have correct values for your monitor. I think your horiz sync is probably even higher than you have now.
If this doesn't work, run xvidtune. It's a program for tuning settings for resolutions - the result you get should be inserted into the config as a modline. Can write more about it if you decide to use this way.
