mobiwan for ns-2.35


can i install mobiwan on ns-2.35 (ubuntu 14.04) ??

Mobiwan-1, ns-2.35, any 'Linux OS'

$ tar xvf ns-allinone-2.35_gcc482.tar.gz

$ cd ns-allinone-2.35/
$ patch -p0 < mobiwan-1_ns235.patch
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S...ew?usp=sharing
$ ./install
$ cd ns-2.35/
$ cp ns ns235-mobiwan
$ sudo cp ns235-mobiwan /usr/local/bin/
$ cd ../nam-1.15/
$ sudo make install

Simulation : $ ns235-mobiwan simple3_mipv6.tcl : OK.
$ nam out.nam : Also OK.

Simulation examples : mobiwan-examples.tar.gz

and what about the version Of GCC in which Mobiwan wOrk Ok ??

GCC : Any version, 4.4.x ... 5.2.0 !

I.e. when no compiler is specified, the default "gcc/g++ 4.8.2" will be used (Ubuntu 14.04).
"ns-allinone-2.35_gcc482.tar.gz" is the `Nov 2014' update, to use any gcc`s 4.4.x ... 5.2.0

Ok !!

i want to simulate Route optimization in Mobile ipv4 or ipv6... u have any idea aboout that...
and this my projct ... and i have only 2 weeks left for this work !!

after googling i reached that mobiwan is used to simulate Route optimization in ipv6 ,,

if i follow these command tO install ns2.35 and mObiwan... it will be installed withOut any errors ??

i followed the steps that u post above.. but it giving errors .

compilation terminated.
make: *** [tk3d.o] Error 1
tk8.5.10 make failed! Exiting ...
For problems with Tcl/Tk see http://www.scriptics.com

now tell me what to do ??

You will of course have to install the ns2 build prerequisites,
before you start building anything :

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install g++ autoconf libtool libxmu-dev xgraph
