Mandrake 9.2 Everything fine, except ADSL

Hi

After several diststers with dual boot systems, I decided to try a virtual machine. It's really working out fantastically at the moment, apart for one major problem. I cannot configure Mandrake to connect to my ADSL line...

Running VMware/Mandrake 9.2 on XP.

I have an external ADSL modem which is connected to a hub, then to my machine.

I have tried to run the network setup wizard in almost all possible configurations, to no avail. I also have the exact same problem on my laptop.

Must be an idiot newbie mistake, as I have the same problem on both machines. Any ideas?

Cheers
Gavin
