Looking for a command/program to give me wifi info?

The Ubuntu distros connect to my wifi without a program, but some other distros use a WiCD Manager, and I can't seem to figure out the right configuration. Is there a program or command that'll give me all of my wifi settings while in Ubuntu so I know what they are? Thanks.

the command iwconfig should do what you need. I have used it to configure wireless without a GUI to finish a Debian Netinstall over wireless. Google it or look at the man page for syntax and the tools available.
