looking for [kmod]

Hi there,

Though having compiled my 2.6.9 linux kernel with the "loadable module support" option, I can't find any [kmod] kernel thread running.
I've tried 2.6.11 linux kernel, but things are the same. Am I missing something ?

Thanks for your explanations.....

You might have missed this option in your .config

CONFIG_KMOD=y

I'm afraid not : I do find the above line in the .config file.
I wonder if there is anything else to quote, and, if not, what's wrong ?

Thanks for your answer though.....
