Linux on Chromebook

I'm not really new to Linux but am relearning a lot after a brain injury so please bare with me.
My question has to do with running Linux in a container on a chromebook. Is it possible to have multiple bistros, each on its own microsd card, and run whichever one I choose at any given time?

If the firmware file from Mr Chromebox for your chromebook supports sd boot. I don't why not.

I run antiX full 64 bit iso version 23.1 runit on my Dell chromebook with / on internal 16 gig SSD and /home on a 54 gig sd card.
