linux correct permissions for .bash_aliases

Above is another search string I tried on oh-so-magic Google (?!) that came up bupkus.

So I decided, per usual, to ask the question here. What are the correct permissions for the .bash_aliases file?

.bash_aliases permissions in Google Search returns this as the first result:

https://askubuntu.com/questions/6743...mission-denied

which says 644.
