Limit connected items connected to my router

Hi

Yesterday i got ip-phone, i use a normal phone with adapter connected to my router. When i was downloading some music, the delay on the phone was several sec, because internett got all the speed. The phone needs about 80 of the line of 512 kbs. How do i limit the pc so that the phone get what its needs? Im running mandrake 9.2.

Unfortunately, I have never come across a cheap router that will do load balancing. You might be able to use the Wonder Shaper and route your IP phone through you linux computer to do load balancing.
