Kali-Linux


I am trying to install Kali-Linux. and I get a message that I have the wrong installer kernal that doesn't match. what do I do??? the attachment is a pic of the warning.

Is this a usb unetbootin install, if so unetbootin doesn't remove preious kernel info. You have to remove it yourself, or use dd to put live-image on the usb drive.

also running Kali on a VM will not work well


almost all the tools that make kali what it is are CUDA enabled or OpenCL enabled

they DO NEED a rather good nvidia card and not a opengl simulated one

you really DO NOT want to try to run say "johntheripper" on ONE cpu and not on 2048 cuda cores

even making a 2048 or 4096 key pair will TAKE FOREVER on one cpu

do a REAL INSTALL
