also running Kali on a VM will not work well
almost all the tools that make kali what it is are CUDA enabled or OpenCL enabled
they DO NEED a rather good nvidia card and not a opengl simulated one
you really DO NOT want to try to run say "johntheripper" on ONE cpu and not on 2048 cuda cores
even making a 2048 or 4096 key pair will TAKE FOREVER on one cpu
do a REAL INSTALL
