Java c compiler


HI,
I was trying to run the freerailz game on my fedora core 2 box.But while executing the commands,i kept getting the error:javac not found.I have java runtime ver 1.4.2 installed on my system,so why am I getting the error?Please advise.

If the program needs javac, it means that it tries to compile something, so it needs j2sdk, not only runtime.
