My HDD is on ITE 8212 and Debian Sarge 3.1 doesn't reconize it. How can i load the drivers in order to boot Debian installation correctly ?

Thanks

Take a look here.

http://kerneltrap.org/node/4543

"there is a driver in the ac patchset..... using it in straight IDE mode"
Enable CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IT821X in your kernel config to get it going.

You do not need the ac patch. Just download the latest stable 2.6.x kernel. Configure it and compile. Though I suggest using the primary controller instead of this controller to make it easier to install Linux.
