Question Is there a way to transform tar.gz into rpm or is there a GUI for tar.gz


I wanna know becouse i'm a begginer and i can't really use the command line interface .. (
can anybody help me ?

yes there is it is called check install

http://asic-linux.com.mx/~izto/checkinstall/

As for the command line interface download a tutorial and learn how to use it because it will make your life a whole lot easier. Once you can use it properly you will find that there are many things you can do with the CLI that you cant do with a GUI like renaming 100 file extensions in one go.

thanks alot for this ... a but the home page of that program is another ... i mean it only a linck to the actually site ) thanks again and i've been talking with another linux user and he gived me some instructions for using the command line
