is there a screen magnification software for DL 3-5 and how to instal it (.deb or RPM
Very new to Linux, swapped over from one of mr gates versions as always get viruses etc, have laptop running puppy and main PC with DL 3.5, i need to use screen magnification software as i am blind as the bat. found one http://magnifier.sourceforge.net/ but it is .deb or .rpm format, and i have no clue how to install such files

Actually, you should not need to install anything (unless the Puppy maintainers have separated the packages); available to you, with X (the program that provides the graphical interfaces) there should be a program called "xmag".
To run it, open up a console (syn. "terminal") and type "xmag" (without the quotes).
here is a good magnifier, but have no clue how to install it, pls help http://magnifier.sourceforge.net/ do i use the deb or rpm want to put it on DL 3.5
