Still haven't answered the simple questions:
  1. Why can't you use SNMP?
  2. Why can't you use Webmin?
Both work over a network/LAN, and both can reboot a computer.

Unless, of course, this is your homework.

+1 for Webmin. I currently administer two servers remotely with Webmin. One is on my LAN, the other is remote, on the ‘net.
I can do pretty much anything I need to do on my iPad while sitting on the couch. My biggest problem is typing on glass.

The idea is to be nice to people here and not cause problems or make personal attacks. This is deteriorating into a personal conflict so please get back on track about the original topic.

security not is problem becouse is project running in LAN.
Security is ALWAYS a problem and should be considered in every task you do on a PC, since the only secure PC is the one that is not powered on and is locked in a secure room or vault.

You have been given many suggestions as to how you may solve the problem but tunnel vision has you focused on doing the task one way and refusing to even consider an alternative method.

I hope you never have a problem with any of the machines that you are opening up to attack with your approach. I also cannot add to the perfectly good suggestions you have already been given, so good luck.
