Question Is it ok if i need to uninstall the following software

Dear all,
I'm uninstalling some of the software that (I think) I don't need in order to safe some disk space. Question:
1. Do I need kernel source code? Looks like this takes up some good chunk of space.
2. Does other program depend on QT? I want to uninstall it otherwise. It said it is a framework for developing GUI aps using C++.

Regards,
ethereal1m

Kernel source code : Required, when you build a
Slackbuild - driver, like nvidia. Afterwards it
can be removed.

QT : All KDE Desktop, KDE applications depend on qt.

'knudfl' gave you two good reasons for not removing. But You need to define how this machine is to be used. There are other gotchas if you don't remove things properly.
