Hi,

I am having problems installing Rollercoaster Tycoon. I am using Pinguy 12.04 LTS. Winetricks doesn't load up for some reason, although i don't even know if that would help me if it did .

I managed to mount the iso ( ) and load setup.exe though wine but i cannot install it as the installer cannot find the directory and I'm also getting "General Failure" messages. Does anyone know what file path is best to use?

I had a look at google and found this:

But it still confused me, I'm that much of a noob haha.

I also found another tut but it also confused me. I really need a laymans step-by-step guide if possible.

Any help would be appreciated

UPDATE: Ive managed to install the deluxe gog edition, as thats listed as platinum on winehq. But when i go to play the game all that happens is my screen resolution changes and it goes back to the desktop.

Any ideas?
