1080p frame buffer support has been found: https://www.miniand.com/forums/forums/2/topics/21 and they are hosting the u-boot config to do it https://www.miniand.com/forums/forums/2/topics/22

I have no affiliation with the site, but Toby is a friend of mine, and I found this thread while researching if anyone else has figured it out yet. Its only framebuffer mode, so it will be better to get the open source mali drivers working properly, but it appears the hardware will do 1080p when its set up right (i was starting to get worried!). Cant wait for my unit to arrive even more now!
