Installation of deepin

A total newbie to Linux but have read enough to want to install the Deepin distro. Have an unformated HD, Dell Latitude 630, 4gig memory and 100gig HD. No s'ware installed and I'd like to install Deepin from scratch...without installing Windows. So I need to create a boot disk, that much I think I know.

Is there a simple, easy-to-follow set of instructions somewhere I can follow?

I'm sure this has been asked before but I appreciate everyone's patience as I've not formatted or installed from scratch since MS-DOS & 10Mb HD days

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!!

Hi Bustedpop and welcome to LQ.
It's easy-peasy.
1. Go to this website (the Deepin website)
2. Follow the instructions.
3. Post a question here if you run into problems or don't understand the instructions.
4. Have fun!
