Hi All,

I'm new here.
Just want to try to use Linux as main OS. Some years ago used Gentoo, Debian. Now wanted to install Ubuntu. But my feature goal work on Arch.

What to read for achieving?

Thanks!

Welcome to LQ.
Try a LiveCD from almost any distro.
If your "goal" is to install Arch, install Arch.

"Some years ago" is too vague. Your skills are rusty, or forgotten?

Start with reading the documentation. That way you will gain knowledge and be prepared when you perform a fresh installation and avoid surprises or the unknown.

neogan,

Welcome to LQ.

As well as the official Arch links recommended by Ztcoracat, you will probably find this step-by-step tutorial of help. I certainly did.

It is really useful to have a separate computer showing the tutorial's individual steps as you work on the Arch installation.

Failing that, I recommend that you make copious notes and make sure that your typing is 100% accurate.

Good luck.
