I need to recover the Ubuntu Linux partition

Using the default disk management software built into Windows Vista, I inadvertently deleted my Ubuntu Linux partition. Now I need to recover the Ubuntu Linux partition but I don't know how. Please help ASAP

If you deleted, but didn't format then you may be able to recover lost data by using testdisk, which is included in gparted-live-cd/usb.

I have already tried using testdisk, it found the Windows file system but not the Linux file system.
