The Ubuntu package 'nam' is corrupt.
Not unusual, as Ubuntu nam packages depend on tcl + tk.
When tcl, tk are updated nam doesn't work anymore.
NAM has "low priority": Years between updates.
No valid nam periodically since 2014

If it's a genuine Linux OS

Suggest nam_1.14_amd64.deb, i.e. v1.14 is a "one file package".
I.e. v1.15 different, was designed to also work with a Mac computer :
Depends on the tcl / tk it was built with ..... in the right location.

If WSL: I guess it's do it yourself .... or find a working executable on the net.
But then again, if WSL is "console only", no NAM .. as a graphical user interface is required.
