I can't install sun-java6-jdk sun-java6-bin sun-java6-jre


I can't install sun-java6-jdk sun-java6-bin sun-java6-jre, always show an dpkg's error

so i'm try to remove with sudo apt-get remove sun-java6-bin sun-java6-jre sun-java6-jdk...

please help me to solve my problem... thx....
1. Go to http://java.com

2. Pick a Java version --choose an executable binary, not an RPM.

3. Download it.

4. Put the download anywhere convenient.

5. Open a shell and navigate to the location of the binary.

6. Enter "chmod +x *.bin"

7. Enter "./(full name of binary)"

8. The binary Java download will install itself.

As you become more familiar with Java, you will figure out how to get the various versions downloaded and installed.

Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should
reinstall it before attempting a removal.

Kinda self-explanatory isn't it?

What happens when you try apt-get purge sun-java6-jre?

And no do not do it the way the person above me suggested.

Btw it helps if you tell people what distro you are using and how you tried to install the package.
