No, sorry...that's not the way it works here. We're not going to provide you with personalized, one-on-one tech support..this is a community forum. Either take part in things, or you won't get helped.

Second, if you're looking for the hwmp protocol specification, that's easily found via Google, if you bothered to look:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11s

If not, then provide useful details when asking a question, like version/distro of Linux, what you're trying to do, programming language, etc. At best your question is vague.

Again, no, we're not going to email you. Either participate, or go elsewhere for one-on-one tech support.

We can try to help, but you have to provide actual details. Things like version/distro of Linux, what you downloaded from where, what you're trying to accomplish, etc. All you've told us is you downloaded HWMP (???), changed something somewhere, and it's not working.

Yes, thanks...reposting the same question over and over, doesn't get you an answer quicker. Also, you need to spell out your words, and write clearly.

Also, I did NOT refer you to that link. And did you bother to read the website???
Quote:
HWMP model for NS-2 is unmaintained now.
So upgrading to NS3 may get you what you need, since the NS2 version is old and unsupported. Also, on that very same site:
Quote:
To switch to proactive mode (with root node number 4) you should uncomment a line with "#define ROOT_INDEX" in "hwmp/hwmp.cc" (starting with revision 149) or use special "proactive" code snapshot.
Did you DO these things?

Again, SPELL OUT YOUR WORDS. And again, there were two methods specified on that website...did you try them BOTH?? Did you READ the part about the version for NS2 being OLD AND UNMAINTAINED? Did you try using NS3 for this, that has the latest version?

Also, have you tried to contact the folks who WROTE that, or checked their forums/documentation???

Did you not read the replies above, where the question was answered? Follow the links?? And don't re-open old threads, and hijack them with your question.
