Linux 17.2.... Guessing you mean linux mint
Adobe flash player on linux stopped with version 11.2. Flash is currently on version 19, so we probably should install an alternative to flash.

Open a terminal and run the following
Code:
~]$ sudo apt-get update
~]$ sudo apt-get install lightspark browser-plugin-lightspark

Hi Mike...

I'm not sure if Lightspark can offer the level of content support that Flash Player can. As Demosa has mentioned, Adobe has stopped releasing versions of Flash Player for Linux beyond 11.2, so if you are looking for the most recent version, you will need to download and install Chrome (Google's web browser) which uses the most recent (probably 19) Pepper based version of Flash.

If you don't even have 11.2 installed, let us know and we can help you with that.

Regards...
