how to install linux on second hdd?

hi.....i have windows XP on one of my HDD and i have a second HDD on which i want to install linux............can n e 1 guide me about how to install linux on that HDD...i m using FEDORA core-3...........

i would also like to know , which HDD should i give primery in BIOS...so that i be able to install dual boot loader.......n where should i install bootloader..........
plz ppl ...help........

Yeah, when you get to this part of the installation:

Check "Configure advanced bootloader options"

Then, you'll get to this screenshot (minus the pop-up):

Make sure you "Install Boot Loader record on" the Master Boot Record (MBR).
