How to extract tar.bz2 files?


I have been using mouse right click to extract here but now I have to use command as root.

Try:
tar -xjf /path/to/file.tar.bz2

try man tar

do
bzip2 -d and the file Name

then

tar -xf and the file name

that's how I do it and it always work
