how to copy and paste between text editors sessions in bash


Hello!
from m$ windows i am used to be able to cut and paste between differerent files in notepad but cant seem to get that working in linux without any gui like kde and gnome, i only an cut and paste in the same text file that i edit, can this be done in bash?

Just highlight the text you want, then middle-click on where you want the stuff to go.
