how to convert a .iso file to .img file


Hi,


I have a .iso file and I want to convert it into a .img file.Can someone please suggest linux commands for it. Then I want to write the .img file to the usb pen drive.Can someone let me know the command for this also? Please help

Take a look at
http://www.t2-project.org/packages/img2iso.html
or use the dd command
Why do you need the img file?
Can't you write the iso to usb and make it bootable?
