I've just removed all linux partitions off the HD because i was runing out of space on my XP partition.

Now it just boots to a shell (grub> ) and i dont know how to fix the MBR to load windows again. Any help would be appreciated on how to resolve the issue with out loosing all my files

THanks

well...just boot from the wndows-cd and then get to some kind of cli.
then type " fixmbr " and you've got the old xp-bootsector.

cant get to dos after booting from xp cd

I've tried to boot off the XP cd and if i try to exit to dos to try to type that command (fixmbr) it automaticly restarts the computer so i can do that. Can you be a bit more specific?

Thanks
