Help Im Stuck In Internet Cafe Help Please

Hey guys i have changed my xconfig to run in higher resolution.

My PC works until it goes into the login screen then its black.
I have eddited my intttab in order to auto boot into the GUI, i cant get into the CLI of linux in order to change my xconfig back to normal. PLEASE can someone tell me how this is done, preferably noob style. Thanx

you can boot the install-cd and type the input : bare.i mount root=.....etc..... as suggested on
the screen.
then you can edit the file...

or when the lilo boot screen comes up type linux single

you can type linux 3 at the boot. (In Lilo, hit ESC when it gives you the choice window, then it will give you boot: type linux 3 which goes to a higher level but still CLI.

i did get the lilo screen i tyed single linux and that worked, thanx for all your help though that was a real b*tch to get working.
All because i wanted quake 3 installed, think im gonna keep my linux box for coding and my windows box for gaming
