GRUB, Dual Boot of RH8.0!

When I run a new RH8.0 system on primary disk (hd0,0) and then insert an old RH8.0 disk as secondary I can no longer boot my system. The boot process complains about boot label and read-only filesystem, the results is that the boot stops.

How do I resolve this conflict and "inactive" my old disk as "primary"? and where is the boot log located in the fs?

Thanks,

-mk-

What kind of disks are you talking about? Hard-disks?
