Talking Getting my first dedicated server

I'm getting a dedicated RedHat 9.0 Linux Server. I host my websites on unix, but never actually administered a server. Before i get the server i've been doing some research here and there, but i was curious if anyone can give me some pointers and some books, scripts, etc to look upon.

Once i get the hang of it, I'm planning to turn it into a webhost. My server is going to have Cpanel on it, and i'm planning to get WHM Auto Pilot to run the hosting accounts.

Can anyone point me into the right direction for books, tutorials, resources, etc.. that might be useful to someone who never used linux?

Thank you in advance.

You could try the Red Hat Unleashed books. I got one when I first started using Linux and it worked great for me. There should be a Red Hat 9 Unleashed book out by now. After that you might want to find more advanced books on networking if you are going to do web hosting......my 2 cents

Another thing is i noticed most books are created for people who actually have linux installed on a home or local computer. I'm getting a dedicated server so the only why i would be able to interface with it would be through command prompts. Can anyone refer me to some books or resources on Linux administration but for people who just going to use the command prompt and shell to basically run the whole server.

Thank you.
