formatting wrapped lines of vi in notepad plus plus

Operating system: HP-UX
ClientuTTy
A few email address lines run really long and hence are wrapped when a cat is used. When copied to notepad plus plus the wrapped content appears after a lot of spaces. Anyone facing this?
Replacing multiple spaces in Notepad++ seems like a far fetched workaround.
Is there a way I can copy the lines as they are?

Many thanks

I do not really understand. cat itself does not wrap lines, that was probably the terminal. I do not know where do you started notepad++, but that is running on windows. I suggest you to copy (scp, ftp, whatever) the file to windows and open afterward, do not copy&paste screens.
