Fonts problem when migrating application program from HPUX to RHEL

I am migrating an application program from HP-UX 11 platform to RHEL version 4 update 3, GNOME, platform. When I run the program, I get the error message "Improper font name is specified".

When I check using command "xlsfonts" in HPUX and RHEL, I saw that the number of fonts available in HPUX is a lot more than that in RHEL.

Can anyone tell me how to import the fonts from HPUX, so that I can use them in RHEL?
