OK. Managed to install Libranet 2.8.1 and Firefox 0.9.3 today (had trouble with Firefox).
After installing Firefox I noticed that there isn't a "shortcut" to this in the "start" menu. I right clicked on the KDE desktop and went to "Create New"/"Link to Application..." and linked it to "firefox". I assume this is correct as it runs.
How do I move said shortcut to the start bar. I'd like to put it in the Internet sub menu.
What do you call shortcuts and start menu in Linux? :P
Also, why is it when I go to the shell and type "apt-get install mozilla-firefox" that it wants to install 60Mb worth of stuff?
You add the shortcut to the K menu but going into Control Center>Appearance and Themes>Panel>Edit K Menu.
You can then add/delete/move any folder or icon in the K menu.
I've never used Debain, so, I know nothing about apt-get. Didn't even know libranet had it........
