When clicking on firefox (ubuntu 11.10), it will not completely start. The tool-bars are there, but nothing else. I tried to un-install FF & then re-install FF, but no dice. Also tried ubuntu update. Also tried to shut down system, & then run "Recovery" at startup. Still no dice. My other Web-browsers, (Chromium & Epiphany) work perfectly. Any help greatly appreciated !!!
hi,
I have reinstalled FF many times in the last week lol Did you try to go to Start - Software centre. Then on the left "Get software" The on the right type "Mozilla" or "Firefox" and in the results you should be able to see Mozilla Installer. Click install.
When it's done, you go to start - Internet, chose FF. If you right click on it you can either install it or add to the desktop and then install it from there. Whatever works for you. Of course it all should be doe after you downloaded it from the FF webpage. Good luck!
