Fedora Core 2, KDE sluggish?

I don't know, I tried using GNOME, I didn't really like it, but it didn't feel sluggish. Now I just started using KDE, I like the feel a lot better, but for some reason it's very sluggish, and sometimes in hte menu it takes a bit to catch up where my mouse is pointing, Now this shouldn't be a problem, I have a 1gb of ram, and a 2.6ghz processor. I don't see what the problem could be?

video card

Well, are you sure you have your video card stuff set up right? Make sure you've have X configured right. Find someone with the same video card you use .. search google, and see if you can find a xorg.conf or XF86Config file to help out.

Did linux find your video card? Is it using the AGP stuff for it? etc.
