Fedora 34/Gnome 40 doesn't remember weather location in notifications?

This may have been true in Fedora 33/Gnome 3 as well. I never messed with it until recently.

Anyway, when I click the date/time at the top, the weather box always says 'Select weather location...' When I click it, weather opens and it shows my current location. But even with weather open, the notification still says 'Select weather location...'

Am I missing something? Maybe a setting I don't know about?

IMHO nothing beats a text editor and editing the configuration file directly.

If you open the new Extensions app in GNOME, you'll see that the OpenWeather app is listed as incompatible with the current GNOME version. If you follow the Website link, you'll see that they are working on the port, but the changes they have to implement are precisely ones in the preferences interface.

Preferences are stored in DConf, so text editing isn't an option anyway.
