errors

I am brand new to emc2 starting today and will probably need a lot of help..........
From the desk top I double click and sometimes I get this long list of errors. that say kernal message info, basic info, etc. the problem is I can't delete it or close it out. I have to shut down the computer and restart. right click does nothing. HELP

I am running in Linux cnc on a Sherline computer operating a Sherline Mill. From the desk top, when I click on the sherline mill or lathe up comes a page that says EMC2 ERRORS.The page says ( Printing info, Basic info and Kernal message info ). I try to close out/delete the page but it won't let me. I have to shut the computer down and re start. but it still comes back. .. Hope I explained it better.. Ron.

you would need to describe your problem in details, because I cannot understand what you wrote. What kind of OS and desktop you have (how it was installed), what have you tried to do (exactly: so click on what ...), where is that long list of errors located, can you post that list for us, what do you want to delete, what will happen after restart, is there any program working properly....

I think it's a CNC program, but without more information about what's going on, he's not going to get much help.

I think that those questions are going to be very specific to your software and I suggest that you join the sherline user group on yahoo groups.

Or contact sherline directly if the user group can't help you.

Good luck.
