emacs and multiple files open in seperate windows from remote systems

Hi All,
I have emacs installed on my VISTA desktop system and need/want to open multiple files from multiple ubuntu servers to edit and so forth with the display on my Vista system.

I remember doing this back in my collage days, Unix to Unix, but I have been away from Unix for over 10 years.

All help is appreciated.

I don't know about running emacs on windows, but using emacs on Debian I open/edit remote files over ssh with the following syntax:
Code:
/ssh:user@host:somefile.txt
Cheers,
