Dual boot windows 8 and elementary without the grub list


Hi guys, well let's start, I have a Dell Inspiron 14 with UEFI and windows 8, so I partitioned my HD from windows and then installed the elementary OS 64bit, its installation was successful but it isn't showing the grub list so I can't boot windows what should I do? tanks!

How exactly did you partition your HDD from Windows?
Did you mean that you shrank your Windows 8 partition?

With most of the laptops that have Win's 8 and the UEFI you have to go into the BIOS and disable the secure boot. http://www.linuxbsdos.com/2013/03/12...-in-uefi-mode/

Elementary OS was built on Ubuntu 12.04-

Yes I shrank my disk from windows, I fixed the problem, I just have to active UEFI, and then windows starts. Tanks
