Dual Boot Fedora 4 and Windows XP on seperate drives?

I am going to install Windows XP and Fedora 4 on my system. I have 2 hard drives, a SATA drive and an IDE drive. I want to install XP on the SATA drive and Fedora on the IDE. My bios only allows me to boot to boot to hard disk C: which is always the SATA drive. I assume that is where my bootloader needs to reside. How should I partition my hard disks and set this up? I am new to the Linux world but from what I have used, I love it so far!

The Fedora installer will give you all the choices you need to partition the drive. Just starting out, it might be best to accpet its default setup.

You will have two basic options for installing the bootloader: mbr in the 1st hard drive or mbr on a floppy. If I recall correctly, I put Fedora in a similar setup with no problems.

Install Windows first, and then Fedora---just be sure to point the Fedora installer at the right drive......
