The hardware that you are using would have to support hot swap. Not sure what you mean by "reconstruction mode"???

Hi Team,
Yes, this IBM hardware supported to hot swap, and below error continuous showing on screen "Raid5 : Can not start dirty degraded array for md2 failed to run raid set md2. Md2 raid array is not clean -- starting background reconstruction.
Raid5 : Disk failure on sdc7. disabling device, operation continue on 2 devices"

Kindly guided on above issue.

Ok that looks like you have software raid setup. That would be different. What have you tried to get the drive out and replaced?

Code:
mdadm --detail /dev/md2
Please post the output of this command so that we can see what is going on. I am not as familiar with software (mdadm) raid as I probably should be, but will give it a shot to help you out.

Earlier as I write, I'm unable to access the server and only error message showing on window. "Raid5 : Can not start dirty degraded array for md2 failed to run raid set md2. Md2 raid array is not clean -- starting background reconstruction.
Raid5 : Disk failure on sdc7. disabling device, operation continue on 2 devices"

So you can't do anything with the system at all? The system never finishes booting?
