Unhappy creating Mailman Mailing lists on openSUSE

Can anyone help me with procedures on how to create a mailing list using the 'newlist' command in /var/local/mailman/. I sucessfully create the list and i receive a confirmation message but after adding members to the list, none of them receives mail sent to list.

Research the documentation at the Mailman website. Setting up the mail list is a two part process. First you set it up; second the users have to subscribe to the list. You should find all instructions in the documentation.
Documentation is here.
